Due to a PennDOT road closure on Beaver Dam Road, Route 129 is currently operating on a detour routing
Based on customer requests, the detour is being adjusted, as follows:
Route will be adjusted to use Bristol Pike, Bath Road, and Lakeland Avenue
Service remains discontinued between:
Beaver Dam Road and Bristol Pike (U.S. Route 13)
Beaver Dam Road and Lakeland Avenue
Customers should expect some in service travel delays
The detour will be in effect until the roadway reopens, projected to be in early July 2013
Beginning Sunday, June 17, 2012
The Ford Road Bridge over I-95 in Bristol Township will be closed while the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission completes reconstruction work beginning Sunday, June 17, 2012 (please note the date change)
During this time Route 129 will:
Be on detour between New Falls & Newportville Roads and Ford & Wharton Roads
Service to Crossing Drive & Frost Road in the Keystone Industrial Park will be DISCONTINUED while the detour is in effect
Please Note: A new schedule for Route 129 will go into effect Sunday, June 17, 2012
The detour is expected to continue until September 2013. SEPTA will keep passengers updated as information is made available by the Turnpike Commission
