2018 Philadelphia Flower Show 'Wonders of Water'

SEPTA Discounted Tickets & Event Information

The 2018 Philadelphia Flower Show returns to the Pennsylvania Convention Center Saturday, March 3 through Sunday, March 11, 2018. This year's show, "Wonders of Water," celebrates the beauty and life-sustaining interplay of horticulture and water.

Discounted tickets will be sold at all major Transit Sales Offices and Regional Rail Ticket Offices. Select Regional Rail Ticket Offices and Center City Stations will operate with extended hours during the show. (see pricing information and hours below).

TIP: The One Day and Family Independence Pass offer convenience, economical, and unlimited one day-travel on all SEPTA trains, trolleys and buses.

Weekdays (Monday, March 5 - Friday, March 9): 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 10: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Sunday, March 11: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Independence Pass

  • Sold at all ticket offices, major sales offices and select Center City newsstands, tourist venues, and cashier booths at 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 30th Street Stations and Fern Rock Station
  • Also available aboard Regional Rail Trains for the same price as advance purchase
  • Not valid on Regional Rail Trains arriving Center City Philadelphia weekdays before 9:30 a.m.
  • Customers using Regional Rail to or from New Jersey will pay an additional charge of $5.00 per individual pass and $15.00 per family pass in each direction you travel.


Family Independence Pass

SEPTA Key

  • The SEPTA Key Fare Program is a convenient new way to pay to ride on SEPTA. The Key Card is a contactless chip card that can be loaded and reloaded without having to get a new Card.

All stations are open until 2:00 p.m. (unless regularly scheduled hours are later). Customers can check the clickable system map for specific Regional Rail weekday station hours.

PM Fare Collection at Center City Stations:

The PM Fare Collection Procedure for Temple, Jefferson, Suburban, 30th Street, and University City Station will be in effect beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continuing until 8:00 p.m. Weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays during the Flower Show.

Quiet Ride Program

Due to increased Regional Rail ridership during the Flower Show, the Quiet Ride Program will be temporarily suspended as crews will be focused on safety, fare collection, and announcements. SEPTA will also add capacity to select trains to accommodate additional customers.
