TrailPass
TrailPasses are valid for travel on Regional Rail to destinations in the Zone indicated on the pass.
All Regional Rail stations are assigned a zone number based on its distance from Center City. Zones information can be found on the Clickable Rail System Map or on individual Regional Rail schedules.
TrailPasses are also valid for unlimited travel on all City Transit Routes and on Suburban Routes through the number of fare zones indicated on the pass. Paratransit riders can use a Zone 2 TrailPass or higher to pay their fare.

A Zone 1 TrailPass is required for AM/PM Peak Hour travel to/from Zone 1 Stations.
At all other times — off-peak hours, weekends, and major holidays — a TransPass may be used for travel to/from these stations.
Peak Hours for Zone 1 Stations are between 6-9:30 a.m. and between 4-6:30 p.m. |

Weekly TrailPasses
Weekly TrailPasses are good from 12:01 a.m. Monday through 2 a.m. on the following Monday. Customers can purchase weekly passes at various Sales Locations beginning the Wednesday of the previous week through Tuesday of the valid week.
Monthly TrailPasses
On Regional Rail Trains, Monthly TrailPasses are good only during the month indicated on the pass through 10 a.m. on the first non-holiday weekday of the following month. On buses, Subways & Trolleys, TrailPasses are good through 2 a.m. of the day following the last day of the month. Customers can purchase monthly passes at various Sales Locations beginning 5 business days before the end of the month through five calendar days into the month. Many SEPTA ticket outlets offer monthly passes up to the 10th day of the valid month. Monthly passes are also available online through Shop.SEPTA.org. |

All SEPTA passes are valid for use by only one passenger, who must sign the back of the pass. Customers may NOT share passes. Any pass discovered to be used by more than one passenger may be confiscated.
