SEPTA To Operate Several Buses On Detour During St. Patrick's Day Parade Celebration

PHILADELPHIA, PA  - On Sunday, March 9, SEPTA will detour several Center City bus routes due to the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

SEPTA bus Routes 2, 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 44, 48, 64, 124/125 and C will be detoured around the parade route beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the conclusion of the event.

Over 10,000 festively adorned participants including dancers, musicians, and cultural and political representatives along with 100 floats will wind through the streets of Center City, as the second oldest parade in the United States steps off at noon from Broad Street & Washington Avenue. The parade route will follow Broad Street around City Hall to JFK Boulevard, then north on 16th Street to the Ben Franklin Parkway and the Reviewing Stands at Logan’s Circle.
