Bus Routing Returns to 33rd & Dauphin Bus Loop

Effective Sunday, September 29, 2013, 5:00 a.m.

With the completion of construction work, SEPTA Routes 7, 39, and 54 will vacate the temporary loop at 33rd & Cecil B. Moore Loop and return to 33rd & Dauphin Bus Loop

Customers will see important new travel, operational, and safety improvements, including:

Dedicated drop off and pick up platforms for bus service

Passenger waiting shelters

Improved lighting and new signage

New Newstand in the Historic Building

Art in Transit sculpture installation

Please look for signs indicating bus boarding locations. We appreciate your patience while this improvement project was completed. The 33rd & Dauphin improvement project was a cooperative work effort supported by SEPTA, PennDOT, and the City of Philadelphia

Customers should check the routing information below for Routes 7, 39, 54, 61, and 32

Route 7:

Will enter from Ridge Avenue and berth at the #1 stand (near building)

Routing: Bus makes left out of Loop on Dauphin Street and continues on regular route

Route 39:

Will enter from Ridge Avenue and berth at the #2 lane stand (located in the middle)

Routing: Bus makes left out of Loop on Dauphin Street and continues on regular route

Route 54:

Will enter from Ridge Avenue and berth at the #3 lane stand

Routing: Bus makes right out of Loop on Dauphin Street, then right on 33rd Street and continues on regular route

Route 61:

Stop remains on the outside of Loop, located on Ridge Avenue

Route 32:

Stop remains on the outside of Loop, located on 33rd Street
