63rd Street Station Closed
station reconstruction to begin on a new station

effective Monday, June 16 at 5:00 a.m.

63rd Street Station will close, beginning on Monday, June 16, 2008, while work takes place to construct a new ADA accessible station.

When the El is in operation, 63rd Street customers may use the following SEPTA services as an alternate:

  • 60th Street Market-Frankford El Station
  • Route 21 bus service along Chestnut Street for travel to Center City and other Market-Frankford El connections

SEPTA appreciates the patience of our customers as we continue to rebuild the Market-Frankford El.

 

SUBWAY-SURFACE TROLLEY



Route 11

Bus Substitution
between 40th Street Portal and Darby Transportation Center

beginning Sunday, June 15
Due to track renewal work, all Route 11 trolley service will be substituted with bus service from 40th Street Portal to Darby Transportation Center during the duration of the construction work.

Buses will board and alight from all designated Route 11 trolley stops.  Regular trolley service will operate between 40th Street Portal and Juniper Station while this work takes place.

SEPTA Transportation Managers will be available during the day to assist customers or to answer questions.  Customers are asked to plan for extra travel time while we renew our trolley infrastructure.

Subway-Surface Tunnel Closure
late night diversion routing to 40th & Market

Monday, July 28
12:01 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.
Due to routine maintenance, the Subway-Surface Tunnel will be closed during the date and time listed above and service will be diverted to 40th & Market Street.  Customers continuing travel to Center City Philadelphia should connect to the Market-Frankford Line Night Owl bus service at 40th Street.

Saturday, August 2 at 6:00 a.m. until
Monday, August 4 at 5:00 a.m.
Due to track renewal work, all Subway-Surface trolleys will be on diversion routing to 40th & Market Street.  There will be no trolley service in the tunnel.  Connections to the Market-Frankford Line may be made at 40th Street for continuing service to/from Center City Philadelphia.
 

ROUTE 101 TROLLEY

Due to the Dining Under The Stars event in Media, all Route 101 service will begin and end at Jackson Street & State Street during the duration of this scheduled event.
 



Route 101

Boarding Location Change
between Drexel Hill Junction and 69th Street Terminal

Monday through Friday
daily between 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Due to tie replacement and surfacing, all Route 101 service will board from the outbound track (heading towards Media) at Irvington Road, Drexel Park, Lansdowne Ave, Congress Ave, Beverly Hills, Hilltop Road, Bywood, Walnut St, and Fairfield Avenue station.
 

ROUTE 102 TROLLEY



Route 102

Boarding Location Change
between Drexel Hill Junction and 69th Street Terminal

Monday through Friday
daily between 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Due to tie replacement and surfacing, all Route 102 service will board from the outbound track (heading towards Sharon Hill) at Irvington Road, Drexel Park, Lansdowne Ave, Congress Ave, Beverly Hills, Hilltop Road, Bywood, Walnut St, and Fairfield Avenue station.
