About the Convenience Pass

The Convenience Pass loaded on a Key Card is ideal for individuals who travel on SEPTA Transit routes (bus, trolley, subway) less than 5 days a week and visitors and tourists enjoying a multiple day stay in Philadelphia.

ARE THERE ANY PAPER CONVENIENCE PASSES STILL OUT THERE?

One Day Convenience Pass | $9.00

  • Valid for 8 trips on any bus, trolley, or subway route in one calendar day by one person

  • The pass is activated upon first tap at the farebox or turnstile Validator

  • NOT valid for travel on Regional Rail.

Three Day Convenience Pass | $18.00

  • Valid for 24 trips on any bus, trolley, or subway route taken over 72 hours by one person

  • The pass is activated upon first tap at the farebox or turnstile Validator

  • NOT valid for travel on Regional Rail or Route 78.

Please remember that if you have both Travel Wallet funds and one of the Convenience Pass products loaded on your Key Card, when you tap to ride, the Pass will be the first fare used. If the Convenience Pass is your preferred fare, please do not load Travel Wallet funds on your Key Card
