SEPTA Key Program

The SEPTA Key Fare Program is a convenient new way to pay to ride on SEPTA. The Key Card is a contactless chip card that can be loaded and reloaded without having to get a new Card. The fares purchased can be customized to match your travel needs. Key Cards can be purchased at SEPTA Sales Locations and from Transit Station and Bus Loop Fare Kiosks.

Key Card Fare Options for Travel on Transit & Regional Rail

(Transit: Bus, Trolley, Trackless Trolley, Market Frankford Line, Broad Street/Broad Ridge Spur Line, Norristown High Speed Line)

Weekly TransPass (good for 56 rides)
Monthly TransPass (good for 240 rides)

  • SEPTA Key Card with a Weekly or Monthly TransPass

  • NOT valid on Regional Rail on Weekdays

  • Valid on Regional Rail Weekends & Major,Holidays as,an ANYWHERE Pass

* Effective July 1, 2019 TransPasses will no longer be accepted on the

Airport Regional Rail Line for regular Weekday Travel. A Zone 1 or higher TrailPass will be needed to travel

    • From Center City Stations:Purchase at Station Fare Kiosk for travel from Center City to an outlying Station. Not valid for travel from an outlying station for travel towards Center City (except on Airport Line)

    • EXIT Quick Trip: Purchase at a Station Fare Kiosk inside the paid area at one of the 5 Center City Regional Rail Stations - replaces Cash fare payment onboard the train

    • From Airport Line Stations Terminal A-E/F: Purchase at Terminal platform Fare Kiosks for travel towards Center City

  • Single ride use ONLY (no reload) NOT Valid for use on Transit
