When does the Owl Link run? SEPTA Owl Link operates 10:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., 7 days a week/365 days a year.
Can I use this service to get around Bensalem and Bristol, without connecting to a Route 14, 56, or 66 bus? No. Owl Link service is intended only to connect these regular SEPTA routes with job opportunities and places of employment in lower Bucks County. Rides can only be booked if you start or end your trip at the Torresdale & Cottman bus loop, City Line bus loop, or Horizon Mall
Is this service available outside of Bucks County? For the pilot, the Owl Link service will only operate in lower Bucks County. What we learn from this program will help SEPTA determine if this program would work in other parts of our service region.
What does it cost to ride the Owl Link? The ride on Owl Link is FREE with a valid SEPTA Key Card. Customers traveling on SEPTA Bus Routes 14, 56 & 66 pay the fare on that portion of the trip. When you connect with the Owl Link bus your ride is free just by showing the driver your SEPTA Key Card.
The same applies for your return trip. Show your SEPTA Key Card when you board an Owl Link bus and use your SEPTA Key Card to pay for your connecting trip home on any Route 14, 20, 56, or 66 bus.
Can I book a ride without a smartphone? Yes. Call (215) 580-7114 and we will assist you over the phone
Can I book a ride in advance? Yes. Same day trips must be booked at least 30 minutes before you plan to ride or you can book up to 7 days in advance. Bookings are made on a first come first served basis and are limited to the number of seats available on the vehicle, so we recommend that you plan your travel and book your ride.
Can I book more than one ride at a time? No. You can only book one ride at a time, however, you can use the app or Reservation Line to book each ride you plan to take up to 7 days in advance.
Can I bring someone along with me? No. Everyone using Owl Link must book a ride before they travel. We encourage you to tell friends and co-workers about this late night travel service and the options to use the app or Reservation Line to book their ride
Will the Owl Link pick me up at my place of work? No. Since other customers will be sharing the ride, we provide a pick-up location near your job for everyone to meet the driver. This means fewer stops and greater efficiency in completing your trip
How do I know where to meet my driver? After you book a ride, the app will display your pickup spot - either a street address or business name to help you find it. Either way, there will always be a dotted line to show you how to get there.
The app will also show you how far away your driver is in real-time. We will remind you when the driver is 2 minutes away, so please make sure you're at the pickup spot when the vehicle arrives.
If you booked your ride through the Reservation Line they will provide the pick up point information when you make a reservation. You can call the Reservation Line (215) 580-7114 to get an update on your pick up location and estimated time of arrival of your Owl Link ride.
Is there a fee to cancel my ride? There is no fee but we ask that you please cancel your ride on the app or by calling the SEPTA Owl Link Reservation Line so that some else can ride.
What do I do if the driver left without me? Re-book directly using the app or by calling the reservation line (215) 580-7114. then send an email explaining what happened to firstname.lastname@example.org or calling the Reservation Line to report your missed trip.
What do the Owl Link vehicles look like? We will be using ADA accessible, SEPTA CCT Paratransit vehicles. They will be clearly marked with the SEPTA Owl Link logo.
Can I ask the driver to drop me off at a different location once I'm on board? No. Once you start a ride, you can't change the drop off point. If you have not yet boarded, you can cancel the ride and re-book with a new destination but remember, you need to book 30 minutes in advance.
Can I set favorite locations for pick-up and drop-off in the app? Yes. Tap the Favorites tab in the app menu, then tap Set Home Address or Set Work Address and type in the address of these favorite locations
Can I leave feedback about my trip? Feel free to fill out the feedback screen in the app after your ride or you can contact the Reservation Line
How do I reset my Owl Link app password? Open the app and select Get Started. In the password box, select Forgot your password? and follow the prompts.
I left something in the vehicle - how do I retrieve it? Please email us at email@example.com with a description of the missing item or call the Reservation Line and report the item lost.
What are the COVID-19 Safety Precautions for this service? We're working hard to ensure that every trip you take is as safe and worry-free as possible. The same COVID-19 health and safety guidelines found on other SEPTA bus service will be in effect on Owl Link including:
Face masks or coverings required on board the vehicle. Customers not wearing a face mask may be refused service.
Vehicle capacity is based on current social distancing guidelines
The Owl Link vehicles have automatic doors – wait for the driver to open them to avoid the need to touch the handles
All vehicles are cleaned and disinfected regularly
